November 2016 Blog Hop

Welcome to the November 2016 Blog Hop.

We decided to post a number of cards for the holidays. Please leave comments and let us know what you think. Thank you

My first card uses the Star of Light Bundle. I decided to use Night of Navy for the background and central star for the card.  Using Night of Navy ink I stamped the swirl of stars and the sentiment in Night of Navy.  I used the silver glitter paper and one of the dies to cut the center of the star and then added an embellishment.  This was a very quick card to put together and I really liked how it turned out.

I’ve always associated the holidays with the sound of bells so I especially liked the new stamp set called Seasonal Bells.  To make this card I used Whisper White cardstock and a beautiful background paper from the This Christmas designer series paper.  Then I stamped three different bells and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink. I punched out the bells and used the Bunch of Banners dies to cut out the sentiment. Finally I made a bow out of Cherry Cobbler ribbon.

I just love making gingerbread houses and decorations for the holidays. The final card I’m sharing today was easy to create using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle and Candy Cane Lane designer series paper.

Check out the other cards in the Blog Hop.  See you next time.
