I love the new Daisy Delight bundle!  I’m always attracted to flower stamp sets but I especially like the variety of flowers and fonts on the sentiments in this set.  I’ve also enjoyed playing with the daisy punch.

I decided to use Calypso Coral cardstock because it is one of the coordinating colors with the paper I selected from the new Delightful Daisy designer paper pack.  I didn’t want to just attach a daisy to the front of the card, so I decided to use two different circle framelits. One framelit to cut a circle into the designer paper which was glued to the cardstock.  I used a second circle framelit to make a Calypso Coral scalloped frame to go around the circle opening. I added the “Thank You” sentiment from the stamp set.

I used Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the daisy image onto a piece of Whisper White and Daffodil Delight card stock to have a daisy with different petals. I punched out both images and glued them together in the center.

I attached the 3-dimensional daisy on the inside of the card and lined it up so the petals would fit through the hole in the front of card. I added a new clear embellishment called “Faceted Gem” to the center of the daisy. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set. Finally, I carefully closed the card bringing all the petals forward to the front of the card.

I hope you enjoy my design and that you will take a few minutes to write some comments.

  4. This is my “sleeper” set. I wasn’t a big fan … I thought it was “okay” until I got to play with it at Jennifer’s and I fell in LOVE. Placed order but it was right when the punch went on BO so I have the stamps, but no punch! Oh, waiting, it’s the hardest part! Love your card and the way you tied the DSP and card stock together.

  5. Hi Susan,
This is such a cute card (I was lucky enough to receive it in our swap) and the way the flower becomes animated when it opens is so beautiful! This Delightful Daisy preview surely delighted me!
