April 2017 Blog Hop

We decided to make a Mother’s Day card to honor our mom or a special woman in our lives.  My mother loves flowers so I decided to use the “Circle of Spring” bundle to create her card.  I started with Daffodil Delight cardstock for the background.  Then I took a piece of Wild Wasabi cardstock and used the Petal Burst embossing folder to create a background with falling petals.

I stamped the wreath with black ink and colored the leaves with Wild Wasabi and the different flowers with Daffodil Delight and Sweet Sugarplum. I added some clear Wink of Stella to all the flower petals to give it a glittery look. I used the die to cut out the wreath and then a bow out of Sweet Sugarplum paper. I assembled the card using  dimensional.

  1. I always struggle with that wreath, but your card looks lovely! I really like that you used the petals embossing folder! I must get this folder … it’s so versatile! Thanks for hopping along!
